"He deserves that payday, as well as the same time frame, I am like I deserve the ability to start out," Robison told the Twin Cities radio station. "I think that I've fought on a yearly basis for that locally to begin and haven't really got the shot that deserve yet, and hopefully, now I'll have that shot and he'll go get his payday and we'll all be happy."

The remarks were the modern within a few offseason verbal vollies relating to the two, something which was sparked should the Vikings gave Robison a three-year, $14.1 million contract in March just days after tendering Edwards, who has got twice as many sacks in the last four seasons, for example year at the much more than $2.8 million.

Edwards has had the Vikings to part of the salary disparity since, including about the same radio station in Could.

"I've openly said I cannot play for any Vikings, a result of actuality of my backup gets paid 70 more percent than Now i'm," Edwards said. "There's definitely not I'll make it happen to myself."

Robison said he hasn't taken Edwards' comments personally.

"I know Ray and We have some of the comments he made and we've brought up it," Robison said. "He means no harm regarding this he's doing what he needs to do to get his payday, and this man definitely needs a payday. He's had two great seasons playing left defensive finish right now. He's definitely designed track record himself."
